There aren't many near me but a large percentage of them involved motorbike drivers,

There are a lot down the M6 where a pedestrian was involved, what are people doing walking down the M6

Its a horrible dataset riddled with errors and therefore shouldnt be trusted.

There are numerous accidents in it recorded as taking place in August in heavy snow.

Yup, it hasn't got any recorded near me, but there was definately 1 which was well known in the area during the timescale which isn't on there (ambulance knocking down a little girl)

A number from this year (that I remember, at least) are missing from my immediate area that definitely involved fatalities.

I saw a lad run out infront of a bus and he died later on , it was wierd

There was an absolutely horrendous crash in Oxfordshire 6 years ago that made national news, less than a mile from my house. It still gets talked about - drink driver carrying kids on the way back from a party, drink driver survived

Car crossed to the other side of the dual carriageway - there wasn't any crash barrier :/
