Three near me, all pedestrians. Hard not to comment on their mental capabilities when there is an a perfectly safe underpass right next to where they got hit.
The young chap was my Boss at a local BP fuel Station when i was 16-17. He got hit by a drunk driver mounting the kerb at high speed and he was left to bleed to death at the side of the road. I and a few other colleages found him covered in blood, blood all over the wall, everywhere
Might also add that the driver hung himself the next day up our local industrial estate.
Nothing immediately near here, but a junction not too far has one incident. I knew before clicking the details that it'd be a pedestrian killed, very dangerous junction to try to cross.
No accidents in my village although three fairly large roads form a triangle around the village and there has been a decent amount of accidents on them. Seems if I never leave my village for the rest of my life I'll be safe!
Theres been a few, but not suprised considering its been going from 1999. I think there was another a month or so ago too. A fair few of those are bikers on b roads.
My sister's friend is one of the unfortunate ones from this area. Died after her boyfriend decided he was better at driving a car than he actually was. Doing 70MPH on a twisty forest B-road and lost control. Turned his Golf into the shape of a tree killing my sisters friend in the process.
