Thats because there is too much hypocrisy or emotional attachment to other peoples questions, and I find them better answered with alternative scenarios (e.g. a cat being fed a live snake).

I fully oppose animal cruelty. However, a carnivore eating another animal is an act of nature, whether influenced by man or not.

I dont see any moral difference in killing an animal that is going to be used as food before feeding it to a carnivore, or simply feeding it live. I fully believe that the 'prey' suffered far less from being 'snapped and killed' in mere seconds by the snake, than it would if killed by humans for the purpose of being fed to a carnivore. I see no difference between feeding a cat, or a rat to a snake.

There are also restaurants in Japan where people eat live fish and squid, yet no one addresses how things like this are any different morally to a snake eating a live animal.

But that doesn't answer any of the questions, and then all we get is one persons views and a completely one sided conversation. If someone says "how are you?" you don't respond with "how are you?".

I dont see anything wrong with the recording of such 'feeding videos' either, whether they repulse me or not. Feeding is a natural thing, if you dont want to watch one animal eat another, then dont click on the video.

Yes I've watched countless snake and giant spider feeding videos on youtube, even though those creatures disgust me, I am simply curious to watch them. I dont feel any need to judge the people making such videos however, and I dont see why such live feeding videos should be illegal.

I do believe I've already answered all the questions, but people are too emotionally challenged to accept them as they conflict with their personal views.

the feeding of a kitten to a snake for purely sadistic enjoyment is not really the same as feeding a snake in a nurturing kind of way. most people use rodents that have been bred for the requirement.

Which is an argument against that particular live feed video not against live feed videos in general. I personally feel that the intent behind the video is more important than the animal itself. Using your example I would be just as much against a live feed video done for kicks if the animal was a rat. Should it really matter what animal is being fed to the snake?

If the person in question did feed a kitten to a snake in a nurturing kind of way would you still be against it?

if it was a rat i would feel the same aswell as this video is nothing more than shock factor through cruelty. this person has also drowned a kitten too so any argument against this particular video of a 'it's only live feeding, it's natural' tone are null and void as these videos are cruel and done for shock value. i wonder how he treats the snake too.

I think the fact that the guy filmed the whole ordeal is pretty weird. Especially with the xmas music and the santa hat.

True this is a carnivore eating prey however the carnivore would have eaten anything small enough to eat infront of it. It too is an animal and knows no better. The owner however used that to his "advantage" and recorded a pretty grim clip.

If that clip was shown on a wildlife program, naturally in the wild, I wouldn't of batted an eyelid but knowing that a human interacted and manipulated the situation in a particularly creepy way makes me feel sick.

As disgusted as i am about the video, replies like this are just abit dim.
