I'm on 2.3.5. I'll post a screenshot at the end of today, I've only just taken the phone off charge. What I find odd is that up until Sunday the new battery was brilliant. It came 60% charged and I nearly got 2 days out of that and then the 3 days at the end of last week. Now its lasting less time than the stock battery did.
 
Just got the extended battery and case from the rainforest site for 24.40 shipped (free delivery), for the person wondering about finding it cheaper than mobilefun elsewhere.

Scratch that, delivery 10th jan... doh.

me too, but all of a sudden i was losing battery only when data connection was enabled and this ended up being the issue. every time you'd get a new email the app was kept alive for 1 minute for every email you got, so if you got 6 emails, then you'd have it running constantly for 6 minutes, and then if in that 6 minutes you got another email it'd start again and run now for a further 7 minutes etc. at least this is what i read. disabling push solved the issue.

also how can you have push only every 12 hours? from what i understand it's either push (which is constant emails coming in when they get sent) or not.

My mistake, it only polls the folders every 12 hours on that one account.

Reading his post it exploded in the charger so its likely an issue with the charger and not the battery.

Extended battery arrived today, first impressions are good. Feels good in the hand and I prefer the extra weight. Looking forward to see his it performs.

I've used a USB extension cable for now. :) Btw I was wondering if keeping the screen on when the phone is docked is a good idea or not? To use as a pretty desktop clock, etc :p Or is it a bad idea because will it recude the life of the screen if it's on most of the time? and maybe screenburn?

What is the best way to charge the phone? My car has USB and a cigarette lighter. I guess the cigarette lighter will be faster, but is that worse for the battery?
 
I've been using the genuine Samsung Galaxy SII flip case now for a couple of weeks and while it does it job, the flap is starting to annoy me so I am on the hunt for a new case.

This time I am after one of them ones which protects just the outer case, but I am totally not sure which one to go for! Obviously it has to be touch and do the job, and I don't want one of those rubber ones!

Could somebody recommend me one? I've read up on those Genuine samsung mesh ones but after reading various reviews I am not that keen on it.

That Jersey site have some nice deals on micro SD cards at the minute.

Genuine Samsung class 10, 16gb for £18.
 
I'm tempted to get the Case Mate Barely There case, I notice that a few of you in here have purchased this case.

Just so I can make my mind up, what are your thoughts on the case since purchase?

whats the absolute best screen protector you can buy for the S2

I've avoided screen protectors in the past cause most of the time they look crap and have air bubbles no matter how well you apply them
and cause the S2 has gorilla glass i thought i probably wont need one
but my mate just got a big stratch on his and he didn't even have anything that sharp in his pocket just some coins and an oyster card or so he says

was looking at the SGP Ultra Crystal for around £10 or can you recommend any others
