I see the resident sociopath has entered the thread and is confused as to why people own pets, he can only put this down to some sort of mental condition. :rolleyes:

How can I give an explanation to why man domesticated animals, to someone who hasn't ever felt love let alone respect from another human being.

Regardless of whether you believe its just nature or some crap, the fact remains what the guy did was sick, the mentality of these people is twisted. Nothing more really needs to be said on the matter.

Most of us behave in more civilised and moral ways.

As for your comment about animals we eat day to day... the processes go through massive investigations to ensure that the pigs/cows/lambs etc we all eat are killed and slaughtered in the most humane ways possible.

Death by snake is more humane than death by human. You actually have to have a person kill the animal.

So I suppose you think that people that work in slaughterhouses killing hundreds of animals a day are sick, twisted and immoral?

You really have no understanding of morality at all, you are consumed with anger due to seeing a cute fluffy thing getting eaten.

im not really into people who like killing animals for fun..

apparently people who kill animals also go on to kill people, just throwing that one out there..

i think their are differences between animals/pets but im not that into animals/pets, i think they're too much work and should be left to live in the wild and not be made to be someones pet.

if people cant see whats wrong with feeding a cat to a snake, would they also have no problem with feeding any mammal to a snake?

People at slaughterhouses are doing a job. There is a market for the meat and any animal by-products.

You cant compare someone killing a kitten for their own sick fun to a massive industry that most of our population actually live on.

a human helped bring the cat to the snakes attension so it wouldnt take much to shoot an elephant and feed it to a snake.. what a stupid idea though right..

Would take an awful long time, snakes generally only eat once a week!

its all controled in a slaughter house too, the animals die in a humane way unlike the cat that got crushed to death by the snake
