Hello yall

I am thinking of getting a sunrise alarm clock for my better half for Christmas, goggled it and hundreds options came up reviews etc.

I was wondering if anyone has one they are using or can advise on a preferred manufacturer perhaps, what to look out for and what to avoid.

Looking forward to your replies.

Get a plug-in timer and a bedside lamp with a 35w energy saver (150w equivalent). Those sort of lamps aren't really bright unless you're looking right at it (which you're not when you're asleep).

Lumie products are utter crap in my experience. My Lumie light is broken in many ways physically and electronically. It's junk after a few years.

I will almost guarantee you that's a poorly built piece of crap that will soon break. Every single Lumie product I have ever encountered looks like it came out of Longbridge in the 70s.

I appreciate your input mate and if it was for me yes I would spend a few extra bucks, but this is not a wife, its a GF that just needs to smile on Christmas, if it lasts 6 months I will be satisfied :)

Might sound silly but +-50 squid is acceptable if she wants a better one well she can shell out the £150 or so :D

thank you again to all that contributed
