Swtor crossfire 6850

Hi,
I have recently bought another 6850 to run in crossfire with my 1st 6850 but I'm now thinking have I made a mistake ,the next gAme I'm going to dive into will be Swtor .

Has anyone played the beta in crossfire with these cards and what was the fps like?.

I have just seen a 6970 On sale and am thinking maybe I shoul get that instead.

Haven't used it myself but during the beta people seemed to be able to create profiles for TOR and have crossfire being used fine with significant FPS bumps, albeit a bit buggy with shadows etc.

As far as I was aware crossfire wasn't working with swtor on beta when I tested but there has been a new set of amd drivers since so may be working now, there is Star Wars: The Old Republic: PC Performance, Benchmarked on Tom's hardware

I sold one of my 6850s recently because I've had nothing but heartache with crossfire in general. Like 1 game I own utilizes it :/

I played in the SWTOR beta and noticed an fps decrease with crossfire on, so I just turned one off and handles the game fine at 80+fps (without shadows). But my CPU tends to slack in populated areas
