Spending 3k+ on your kids for Christmas, you got to be kidding

Completely idiotic for kids that young. Was always around £100 tops for me, if I wanted something bigger (like some of my music equipment), it'd have to be birthday and xmas combined.

this.

just goes to show that she's getting too much in benefit money

She isn't spending 3200 of benefits though. Most of it is loans. Which is also quite delusional. Of course the loans would be repaid by benefits but to quote her.

Last year, Siobhan spent £2,000 at Christmas ... "I saved a little and borrowed £1,500 on credit. I still owe £1,100 of what I borrowed but it doesn't matter. If I had a job or not, I'd still be in debt.

"I plan to do the same this year. I have been saving some of my benefits — around £10 to £20 a week — for months and will pay for the rest on credit.

This year Siobhan has saved £500 for Christmas and will raise the rest by using high interest loans and credit cards, as well as some money lent to her by a relative

Guess someone has to prop the banks up again. :o

/Rage. Why's she on JSA when she freely admits she has absolutely no intention of working.

She should be sent to live in a workhouse.

And thats the problem with the current system summed up by someone on it.

only the single parent + young children benefits that doesnt force them to look for work.

once a child is nursery age they should force the mother into work , i think you can just laze around until your youngest child is 7 years old at the moment?

workhouse is maybe a bit far; but at least told that she isn't managing her money properly and will be docked in x months unless she gets a job and contributes to society

Some people have got the idea that everyone is intitled to the same standard of living and remuneration regardless of effort / qualifications / job / luck or whatever.

Basically they want all of the reward with non of the effort.......

The sooner people figure out why those with money have the nice things in life and those who don't haven't the better.

That is a ludicrous amount to spend on presents. Her kids will grow up to be spoilt brats.

If she is already 1,100 in debt from last Christmas and is borrowing probably 1.5k again this year. I imagine the kids will not be having such a great Christmas when their Mum can no longer pay off her loans.
