Spending 3k+ on your kids for Christmas, you got to be kidding

Tbh, the banks are the most irrisponsible party in this equation. Why are the giving credit to a person with no income.

"Being on benefits means I can buy what I want and be with my sons all day.

"It's the best of both worlds and will mean we will have a very happy Christmas."

ahh that's lovely

Would be cheaper to buy them a DAD

I dont see why people get angry at this kind of thing, while there is a system in place people will use it.

The only thing that irritated me was her statement that she would do a Kerry Katona and go bankrupt, I hope that any credit card companies cut her off immediately.
That and along with the Jobseekers Allowance, I agree.

The problem isn't really that there are people like her, its that the system exists to allow people like her.

As for £3,200, I don't think I've spent that in ~10 years of buying presents.

True point, but saying that how could someone get accepted for a loan from a bank when someone who does work, does have income gets refused finance, the only way I can think is high apr CCs and payday loans which they never pay back in time, so they're probably gonna pile on a ton of charges too

This makes me rage, we are the hard workers here and i myself find it very hard financially come this time of year, then she brags about how she doesn't have to work to get 3k in loans and credits/benefits whilst we try and catch every last penny we have.

like OP have said the current system is wrong,

this is another thing i dont get even people with good credit history don't get credit, whilst people who are on benefits do? i iz confused.

I would not envy somebody for piling more & more debt on.

If you want to rage, rage at the banks us tax-payers bailed out - who are continuing irresponsible lending (to maximise profit).

She says: "If I got a job, it would only be on minimum wage and I would have to pay rent, bills and childcare. It would be a stupid thing to do.

Welcome to the real world luv, this is call working to make a living for your family and accomplishment when you have spare cash over to buy something special for your family.

She doesn't want them to be bullied yet the kids live in one room. Good luck to the oldest when he gets a GF.

Edit: Or wants to fap.

Remember when my dad spent about £1000 on me and my sister one xmas but he earned the money by going working down in Kent when that "hurricane" hit in the 80s and earned a **** load, that women is mentally ill.

What is she teaching her kids, its ok to not work, thats 3 kids with no father figure, a mother that does not work, 23 and 3 kids, when she hits 30 she will have about 5 more.

The wrong people are breeding in this country.

What I don't understand is, why 'show off' to The Sun about this? Does she want everyone to hate her or something? It's very odd.

In fairness, you can't expect such a person to go and get a job that means they will earn less than they would if they are on benefits. If you're on benefits, you should get the absolute bare minimum so you can survive. Not a penny more. Buy a DVD instead of food so you're going hungry? Tough.

That's pathetic considering the woman is on benefits.

Sorry but how do you know? Are you their dad?

I was a kid once, I assume you were too, I hope anyway :p
But I have seen friends and peers come and go who have been spoilt as children and they grew up expecting things to just be given to them by mum and dad. It's not exactly rocket science. If you give children whatever they want when they want then they become institutionalised to that way of life, they just won't want to work hard to earn something.

I'm reminded of a youtube video of a little girl being given a book for Christmas (or was it Birthday?), anyway, she sulked like nobody's business when unwrapping it because it was a book and not something more magnificent.
