Hi all,

Im about to start doing a degree in Sport and Fitness and wanted to get some decent reading material for before I start and thought I would ask the lovely people of OcUK for your input on what you thik would be best for me to read?

Thank you :D

No offense, if you are doing the degree for pleasure and money is no issue then fine. If you are doing it and hoping to get an awesome paid job out of it, I'd think again about the degree course.

I feel this is true to an extent. It does however seem a lot of people aren't getting jobs in what they gained a degree in. I've never understood a sports or fitness degree, but if you're looking to become a PE teacher then it's understandable.

I was told when I started my course in Computer Forensics that it was a developing area of I.T and there was a demand, however for me finding a job in that area has been difficult. It seems the jobs are down south, however my circumstances don't allow me to move down south.

Don't make the mistake I did without giving that much thought about the job opportunities once you graduate. Look into it and see if you are guaranteed a job, a placement year definitely does help as I've been told by friends.
