oh I do like to be beside the seaside
How thick are these people?

Both the last two sets have failed on the first questions.

First
Q. For what was Justin Timberlake given a award for protecting in Oct 2011?
Correct answer was "the environment", thickos went for "friends with benefits".

Second.
Q. What poster has been banned today for upsetting children?
Correct answer was "Final Destination 5", thickos went for "Arthur Christmas"

I literally only saw the 1st one out of the entire show and spent a good 10 mins laughing my rear off. The question:

For what was Justin Timberlake given a award for protecting in Oct 2011?

The options:

A) Friends with Benefits
B) Trouser Snakes
C) The Environment
D) Sexy Backs

Genius :D

The nature of the show, it's aimed at the 'X Factor' audience, the simpleton demographic. It wouldn't be nearly as entertaining if you got some mastermind from University Challenge on there.

:D

For those with more than half a brain it's usually more fun to try and guess the question based on the answers. You only get a few seconds to do so before they reveal it.

They could vastly improve most of these kinds of shows by just speeding the whole damn thing up. Why give them two arbitrary subjects to choose from when the question could literally be anything? You just get thirty seconds of procrastination as they try to work out whether one of them knows more about 'amphibians' or 'war'. Then the question will be something like 'Which of the following Muppets is an amphibian?'. It's like they've taken a kids' TV gameshow, kept the questions the same, but removed any sense of urgency or joie de vivre from it. The second they lose the last of the money the contestants should also be dropped, into a gunge tank. It's only worth watching if you're with friends and you want to shout at the TV.

It's the same with the excruciating 'Deal or No Deal?' from the bits I've seen of it. They could do the whole thing in thirty seconds:

Noel: 'Hi Jane, pick a box.'

Jane: 'I'll choose... 15, because that was the age I...'

Noel: 'NO TIME FOR SUPERSTITION OR RATIONALISATION, OPEN BOX 15!.............. YOU'VE WON 20P!'

*Everyone leaves*

*Phone rings in empty studio*
