Received the block from the competitor today and the plexi appears to be clouded and looks like it has fingerprints on it. I assumed it was condensation as its cold outside so i took the block apart and its permanent and i can't remove it. Is this normal. Please see pic below.

Thanks Tony

since i am impatient i went ahead and fitted the block and filled it with some coolant to see if it hides the blemishes.... and it does so i will add it to my loop tommorow.

not convinced on EK QC

I bought 2 blocks from them - one standard 580 clock the other the direct cuii version

One was short of the correct no. of screws.
The other had way too many including several star head screws that had no purpose at all.

Luckily the excess made up for the shortfall but I was not impressed

You even get a tag in the box with a QC no. on it - my qc must have been blind

The actual blocks themselves are very good quality and cool very well so that bit I am ultra impressed with - sometimes its the little things that make the difference if you ask me - i.e. having a correct number of screws in the kit to actually use the product

accidents can happen!

I've had about 10-15 EK products and they all had everything needed
