This will not be a popularity thing so if you've got those ambitions then get out of my thread.
I think it's fair to say that as a community we are broken, fragmented people with few social skills and even bleaker life prospects. Many of us relate more with CPU's than GF's, and our lives revolve around things which many normal people would find hilarious or alarming.
But through it all, come NVIDIA or ATI/AMD, we stand strong. We improve. We can almost go outside without wondering about the downtime on that raid we meant to go on or worrying desperately about that latest Steam patch and how it might fix that glitch that - GOD DAMMIT! - almost made you underclock due to artifacting.
We are better people.
This thread is aimed at determining who has improved their posting contributions over the course of the year.
I will start and by God, it's a potentially board-splitting choice.
My vote goes to :
Permabanned.

Being opinionated without having the gumption to back things up has, slowly, turned into having a really strong sense of self-worth and, better, self-awareness. Even taking on the permabanned name and the sig that goes with it is no mean feat and shows a depth of self-deprecating modesty I never thought he had. I read his posts now and they're funny, informed and well structured.
So my vote for most improved poster of 2011 goes to permabanned, showing awkwardists everywhere that improvement can happen to anyone.
God speed, sir!
