Hi

My HX1050 is only a few months old and has developed a whinning noiose that is audible.

It may have had this from day one buy noisey fans would have drowned it out.

I now have a custom water loop and I can hear it plain as day?

WTF second Corsair product thats not right after a few months use - beware poeple

I am sorry its not right - its just started it doing it

I have 100% lost all confidence in the Corsair Brand.
I just had to RMA my H80 and they wanted me to post it to America, then Denmark.
It cost me £10 which is an 8th the cost of a new unit to post it back to Overclockers and I have to wait up to 28 days for a replacement!
This was my first PC RMA in years and now it look like I might need to RMA The PSU as well
28 days a month without your PC is a joke!!! I need it for work - its disgusting!

I can now hear the whine over the rest of my system - now to me thats not right

Update - a few restarts and it seems to have stopped - anyone else getting similar?

If you have a few fans a reasonable noice you might not even notice it

Which is it?

It's not really surprising you're hearing your PSU over the other components now that you've water cooled the system, surely that would have been obvious? You make it really hard to judge whether it's being abnormally loud or are just over reacting due to your posts not really asking for help but rather just being a rant.

I agree with that comment about my rant
but when you get your system back on after a period without it and then think another product from the same company has got to go off to the menders then you would be as upset as me.

I know the difference between noise and somethign wrong, when you can hear buzzing, whinning, screeching noise - high pitched over the fans noise then soemthing is not right.

I have had my water for a few days now and have my head in the box for big chunks of time monitoring things and have not heard anything

All of a sudden there it was - I spray dusted the psu to make sure it wasnt somehting stuck but it wasnt that.

I updated above about the nopise now stopping but still my confidence in Corsair is shot.

Just so you know my core temps were hitting 98c when my H80 was intermittently failing!! Now put yourself in my shoes!
