Unfortunately the kinds of issues she has can't be sorted with a few sweet words, and a hug. She needs professional help. You may think you're helping her out, and in some degree she may heal - but she won't thank you for it, in fact she'll hate you for it. And there's the inevitability that once she's back on her feet somewhat, that'll she leave you.

If you stay with her you're going to be her emotional crutch, and you will find that she will drain you of everything you have.

Refer her to psychiatric help, and then leave.

Sadly yes.

She was on strong medication for pain due to an injury he gave her, she was so out of it he sold her to some perv ( for drug/beer money ) and she was literally this guys plaything for a while, with him keeping her drugged upto the eyeballs so she didnt give a rats ass what she did. Obviously far more to it than that but thats the general situation. This was about 6 years ago.

I did it, went out with a lass all sweet then boom and she ripped me to bits. She wasnt abused etc she was the abuser! Killed our daughter

Are you sure she is not just a women scorned and in turn blackening the name of her ex? Thats the sort of thing some women do, its more likely her ex will tell you a few home truths about her. As other have said, run and stay away from her ex.

Well the last girl I dated who went on about all the bad things she went through turned out to be a nut job, it was infact her that treated people like crap, she just wouldn't take the blame for her own actions so made it look like she was innocent and they were the bad ones.

Everyone has good and bad relationships, most people learn from them, those that go on about em probably like the attention they get or just get off on it.
