CPU fan

Hi there

I currently have a computer with an unlocked Athlon and a Cooler Master TX3. The load temps go above 60, and I don't think the CPU fan goes above 800RPM. I've looked in the BIOS and there's no option to control the CPU fan, which is PWM btw.

So I was thinking, could I just cut off the PWM cable? I understand that it would run at 2200RPM all the time but that doesn't bother me.

So could I just cut the PWM cable?

Thanks in advance.

By cut do you mean route it into a molex connector?

Obviously not physically cut the cable as that wouldn't achieve anything :D
