You think servers should have option for no destruction?

That way we can play maps and see what they are like as they are originally.

Off course destruction is good. BUt I dont really know what maps are like cause by time you get round the flags most buildigns are damaged.

It would be an option

omg yes Caspian border is comical now.. My fav map for a long time up until recently After about 10 minutes the forest check point is completely stripped of trees and is a slaughter zone for infantry and tanks. There is like 1 rock and container for cover, an LMG or sniper can cover the whole area so easily.

Ive started using the AK47 and M16 again the starter Assault rifles cos people seem to actually fall over dead when i pull the trigger... its very odd.

Seinne is the same as well now that full destruction is on. The buildings are next to useless as places to either hold flags from of cover roads areas. Within about 10 mins they are mainly rubble.

I prefer Conq for the range of vehicles, but hate both for the fact the game is a team game. Why do people ruin my games! Skyrim <3 you Lydia, now carry my phat loot.

If i were you dude, change it to 24/7 Metro hardcore and see what happens



This sever set up is absolute mental!!! The que for the server hit [11] earlier... Its annoying when you first join but if you stick on the server its great!!!

Bit stat's paddy tho i will be honest, all you have to do is put ammo down everywhere... i had 95 ribbons earlier in one round!!

The conquest mode is definitely team orientated. There have been many instances where I tried to capture the flag as a lone wolf and suddenly I was surrounded by enemy tanks and infantry.

Early on in caspian, as a 4 man squad, I was the only one on the ground trying to take back the captured positions and dying in the process several times without any backup!! while rest of the squad members were all camping on top of the antenna tower and just taunting the other team on chatbox

Huh. Alright. From today ill be changing my server from Rush to Conquest, see if i get a few more of you fellas to play.

What does everyone think is a good amount of tickets for conquest? Do you prefer to play the map twice from each side? Or do you prefer to play each map once but with a higher ticket count?

And Goon your suggestion will be tried if this one fails. I'll feel cheap and dirty but if it gets results who cares right?

I discovered the joy of single shot mode last night. For long range maps like caspian it comes in very handy with some of the engi weapons.

Conquest Large server up and running if anyone wants to come play

Play it once then change map, and also 400 - 450 tickets for 32 man.

If anyone else has the same AERO kicked back to desktop problems, Here is a very good fix i found.

Windows 7. Find the folder Battlefield 3 is installed in (Program Files (x86)Origin GamesBattlefield 3). Right click properties for bf3.exe. Under Compatibility tab, tick "Disable Desktop Composition" and apply. This will disable aero when BF3 is running and revert when the program closes.

Hope this helps someone else. As i was going mad!, But didn't want to completely disable it.

I disabled aero for more vram! Have not been using it for a few months now and can't say I really notice it.

Personally I find metro and grand bazaar a ruddy nuisance on 64 man conquest. I dont see the point in being constant RPG/M320 killed (where is the skill?) I will happily play these maps on servers which are RPG banned and teamkill punished

Each to their own though....just a game after all.
