So, basically, our OP has moved out but wants to keep control of a room he's no longer using 'cos he can't be flipped to move the last of his stuff out? Am I missing something?

OP, pull your finger out and move the last of your stuff out and then it's just down to your dad.
 
So you don't like this guy because 1 time at a party he didn't have much to talk about with someone he doesn't know?

Not that i cba to move the rest of the stuff out. Me and my mrs have a rocky relationship right now. It's on the verge of a separation after 10years together. Some days are ok, and other days we want to kill each other. By keeping those 2 rooms at my dads place, it's somewhere i can go when the turd hits the fan.

Besides, my dad has said all along that i should keep the rooms if ever i need to come back and live there. In a way, i think he's relieved that i've said no to her, because that means that he doesn't have to say it instead. He's a real softy and never says no to anyone, but i know for a fact he wouldn't want her bf coming and going as he pleads.

I tried talking to him. It's not as if i'm a complete stranger is it? I'm close relative to his new gf and i'm trying to get to know him. You either like someone or you don't. You can gauge that in the first 5 mins of meeting someone. I don't like him. Everyone does it.

What kind of loser is she dating at 23 that doesn't even have his own place for them to do that any way, LOL kids these days living at they're mummys house at 20+

Thats hardly fair, I work full time (48 hours a week) and I still can't afford to move out and I'm 24!
