Low profile SCART for wall mounted TV?

I'm trying to find both SCART and HDMI cables that have low profile connections, possibly L shaped or something, to connect to a wall mounted TV without much clearance between it and the wall. HDMI seems relatively easy and I've found few cables that look suitable but SCART is currently eluding me. Anyone know of a supplier that might have something suitable? Is a ribbon SCART cable likely to serve?

Sorry, I do not have precise measurements but I would estimate that the current SCART cable was sticking out by about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch too far.

Small SCART conectors seem to be a bit of a golden egg thing, what is it you are conecting is there any other option?

The SCART connection is for a freeview box with hard drive and it does not support HDMI. I think it might take a coax cable but that is it. Is actually my mother in law's tv. She had me go and move one of the brackets that had been used with an older tv that died, which I did, only to find the cables no longer fit as she had picked a model where they stick outwards. So its back on the stand until suitable replacements can be found.

Buy a scart lead that has removable casing that sits around the plug itself.
Remove the casing, Job done.

My way is the best, you will never get flatter than busting the casing off. (Have done it before many times!)

One of these.

That could work as well. I think I had seen that but spotted the review saying it was just as bulky so would probably need to measure up properly before recommending anything to her.

I'll have to see if I have a spare one myself but they are all tucked away in the loft at present, since nearly everything I have is using HDMI. But the offending cable does have an extra chunky plug housing as well, which does not help.

What about one of these, with a bit of modding.

That's for soldering on to a circuit board. It's useless for the OP's needs.

The hinged and angled SCART plugs are almost as deep as the straight plugs.

Ryder's idea of removing the casing is viable. The only caveat is that the heavy cable starts to pull on the shortest of the fine connecting wires. A bit of support is needed.
