Make a tablet PC?

I'm wondering if its possible to make a tablet PC?

I've got a Galaxy S II mobile phone and i've also got a small bluetooth keyboard for it.

I've got thinking that if i attach this to a screen it'd be essentially a tablet computer, albiet not touchscreen on the screen itself.

I've got 2 broken laptops but have working screens(their nvidia GPUs are however broken).

Surely using the HDMI out on the phone it'd somehow be possible?
 
You would need the graphics chip to be able to output to the screens. It is technically possible to seperate the laptop screen from the laptop, but you need to be an electroncis wizard. Since you are sking, no you cannot :p.
 
Well yes, you could theoretically mod a phone into a tablet via a hdmi screen and custom case. But TBH you might as well just save up and buy a tablet, it would be a lot easier and you'd end up with a professional product.

Not sure I can afford £400 but may try one of the £150-£200 tablets i've seen around online
