I cant believe how bad my day has started off. I was on my way to work. Got off the bus just outside my work and immediately sensed something was wrong. Yup, I had left my backpack sitting below my seat. Tried to flag the bus down as it pulled away but it didnt stop.

I called the customer services for Stagecoach. They said they would try to contact the driver when he reaches the final stop. Can only hope somebody either hands it in or it remains undisturbed until the driver or cleaner finds it at the turnaround point. I'm supposed to call them back in about 30 mins to see whats happened.

Keep your fingers crossed for me :(

We need to know contents of said bag. Gay pron, handgun, etc!

My headset and work folder. Tupperware box with some sandwhiches in it. And my Blizzcon 2010 water bottle. Thats the only thing I'd be bummed to lose :(

Thankfully I keep my phone, wallet and keys in my jacket.

What kind of sandwiches? This is important.

Yes, very. In particular, type of bread, if it's Hovis, and did you have your sarnies cut into little triangles!

Just messing OP, hope you're both reunited soon. :)

Two ham, two chicken and bacon sandwhich filler.

Those are good sandwich choices. I hope you get them back.

Also, your headset and work folder and bag.

e : hold on a minute! Do you mean two ham sandwiches and two further sandwiches (chicken and bacon 'filler' [WTF is this?])? Is this four slices of bread or eight or even two? We need some direction here.

Don't worry, the world makes things equal. Today I found a rucksack on a stagecoach bus - crap sandwiches, but hey, a free bag is a free bag.

Frankly I only care about the water bottle. The bag was by its best, I'd have probably got a new one during the Christmas sales anyway. The work stuff can be easily replaced, even if they charge me for the headset.

The sandwhichs are 2 ham sandwhiches and 2 chicken/bacon sandwhiches yes. Thats 4 slices of bread, with filling between 2 slices and cut in half, to make 2 sandwhiches.

I have fortunately never left anything on any public transport, although it was a regular occurrence until a few years ago that my mum would have to drive down to Skipton to collect whichever item my sister had left on the train that week. I felt very smug that she never had to do that for me. :)

Awaits, "We found your empty bag under the seat".

I thought this too...

Anyway, reminded me of this excellent song:

Well, that's good, isn't it? The stuff that actually matters will get replaced, that's a result :)

I don't like the way this is going, mister. Answer the question! How many pieces of bread were involved PRIOR to any cutting of sandwiches? May I remind you that you are under oath?
