Hello OCUK Community,

in order to celebrate the introduction of our newest chassis called Raider we will give away 3 Raider chassis to you guys.

Only condition is that the lucky winners will create an end user review about the Raider they have received (including pictures) and post it in OCUK forum.

Please let us know why you would want to be the one receiving a sample for an end user review.

@Diggsy: Yes, sample have been sent out there and reviews should come up shortly! :) I will post the links about them in here too!

Ah, excellent!! Good to hear, just saw that the thread went very quiet and wondered what was happening. Will look forward to the reviews :)

Hello kul1 :)

Thank you for the opportunity, how nice to see you here.

I would like to recieve a sample of the BitFenix Raider as I already have the Shinobi case which I used for my recent build. As that experience of using the shinobi is fresh in my memory I would love to get a chance to compare the two.

This would be my angle for the review, it's theme would rotate around a reader who is already happy with mid range BitFenix. Is it worth the extra cash to dabble with their higher (yet still amazingly well priced) option?

Will be looking to review one of these :)

I'd like it for ironically the same rig that I wanted the last BitFenix case for xD I was considering picking up a Shinobi for her, but a Raider would be even better :)

Mrs. would definitely appreciate me finally getting her parts into a case...

Specs:
As a side point: Spec that would probably be going into the case:
OCZ ModXStream 500W
ATI 4870 - pumping out a lot of heat would be interesting to see how the case deals with this.
Asus P5Q
4GB DDR2
E8600
Standard DVD drive + a 500GB F3.

Definitely interested, and writing a review in return seems the least we could do.

I am running a Raven 3 (with a 2600k at 4.6 and 2x5870's), and my eldest is running a cheap-and-nasty-no-name case because he liked the colour (with a Q6600 at 3GHz and a 4870). It would be great to be able to see how the Raider compares to cases that are most definitely at either end of the air-cooling range.

Hi I would be interested in reviewing one of these, I currently have a Zalman Z9+ case but find it limited for my hardware setup.

The Asrock Extreme4 Gen3 motherboards north and south bridge heat sinks limit where I can place the Radiator and fans for my Antec Kuhler 920 as a result the airflow in my case is not optimum.

My I5 2500k running @ 4.4ghz runs a bit too hot for my liking and I am currently shopping for a larger case allowing better cooling.

Currently I had my eyes on

Silverstone Raven 03
NZXT Phantom
Coolermaster Storm Trooper

However I would love to try out the Bitfenix Raider case, my brothers pc I built for him recently has a Bitfenix Shinobi case and I love the rubber feel to the case and the cooling is very good, so if the Raider is even half as good as this case whilst allowing more room then it would be a winner in my book.

So yes I would love to review one for you

Cheers

Si

I would love to review one of these cases as I love to review PC stuff and here are some reviews that I have done for other items that I have bought:

Razer DeathAdder Review:

Gelid Tranquillo Rev.2 CPU Heat sink:

TP-Link WN722N(C) 150Mbps Wireless USB Adapter

And not only would the review be posted here, but on another popular forum/website, so even more recognition for the company BitFenix and the case :)

I would like the case not just to review it but to also gain a better new case as I am still using an antec sonata 3 case that only has 1x120 mm fan at the back so things can get a little hot when gaming and this case looks great for cable management, cooling, noise, build quality and general features overall, which gives the case a nice touch in terms of improving the quality (of course I would go into more detail about this if I am lucky enough to win one and review it ;) :p).

This is a photo of my case at the minute, as you can see cable management is an issue for me! :o :p

I personally think that raider case looks great as well, love cases that are all black inside!

EDIT:

In the household, there is also an antec P182 (my brothers), which has the same specs as my PC (except different PSU, stock CPU cooler and 2 hard drives in total), so I could also compare the raider to the P182 overall as well e.g. the noise, cooling etc.

Well, seeing as I was recently considering this, but it just wasn't in stock when I needed to purchase and landed up with define r3, would happily put myself forward - this case would have been my first choice

They are lovely looking cases :)

Recently did a "review" on an OcUK avenger :

And of course I would take care not to get my other stuff in pics :)
