I fail to see how posting on an internet forum, even prolifically can be deemed as 'getting above ones station', if I wanted to drum up support for myself, I would simply have created a Thread 'Castiel 4 MoH' instead or gotten one of my 'bumlickers' to do it for me.......(whoever the bumlickers are exactly?)... As I have consistently pointed out there are others who should be considered way above me and as others have pointed out, as I post in GD/SC almost exclusively those others arguably have a far more tangible contribution to the Forums as a whole than I do.
I just would like to have some input into the choice
If you have a constructive suggestion on how we could do this without having the issues pointed out by some of the other members in this thread then go ahead, I am all ears......

The way it's worked in the past is Dons & Underbosses put suggestions forward & Spie decides & chucks one or two in himself. I can't think of anybody else who should decide apart from Spie & as the Dons/Underbosses spend so much time on here sifting crap & monitoring monkeys who break the rules they are in a good place to judge the forum contribution overall rather than on popularity.

I think (without a lot of consideration) that the obvious shoo-in's are Gareth and Greenlizard0, almost certainly 5UB also.
Then we have the likes of Stulid, [FnG]Magnolia, Robbo, and a raft of others that have been mentioned by one or more members for whatever reason....
As I said the thread was not designed to be about who exactly, but how we could fairly implement it avoiding the issues that people have raised.

I can't see Magnolia getting MoH, unless he does something very useful in some other forums that I don't pay attention to. Being amusing in GD isn't generally what gets you noticed. It's not impossible to get it on those grounds, but it's much more likely to go to someone from the hardware sections.
So there is an element of self-promotion.
I was joking. I stopped short of finishing my post with "Von for MoH", but only because the notion of my getting MoH is so utterly ludicrous that it wouldn't have even been funny.
Maybe not, it was only illustrative based on suggestions made by others in thread.....

I find this post funny because I was one of those people supporting him, and even I wouldn't actually vote for Castiel. I've already said Gareth170 and Greenlizard0 are my votes for MoH.

I like the way Castiel is genuinely concerned about the people on here who are going through troubled times, he's made his personal email available on numerous occasions to members such as lowrider who is having a tough time of it at present, so for this reason I think Castiel deserves to be called a 'Man Of Honour'.
