Xbox360 dashboard update, finally here?

I quite like, it just doesn't seem to flow as nicely as the old dashboard. Too much navigation is needed. I still prefer the original dash tbh.

i like it, i have a wp7 and the companion app and it does make searching for video better does kill my battery life tho

Nice update but i preferred the old version for navigation, the new one just looks too confusing.

Has anyone worked out the logic for the counting sheep display over the heads of players offline? I do like that btw. I tried to work it out, but it seemed a bit random.

The UI is much quicker than the previous dashboard, and having the console load up on the game tile straight away are both huge pluses in my book.

Everything else that's new doesn't really interest me from what I've seen.

I like it over the old one, I found it a bit big, clunky and childish! :/

This one seems smaller, sharper and quicker (the quicker thing might just be me wishful thinking).

You would be surprised as to how lazy I am

I'm not 100% sure if there's an ethernet cable in the back of it additionally I'll have to place the kinect back under the TV. I found it placed around the back of the xbox one day so can only assume the kids have bust it.

Yeah so as you can see it's wise for me to not even approach the xbox as it could mean fixing a whole lot of stuff that I could quite frankly do without

Wooh, I love it!

Plays HD video, nice and easy to use - much better than fannying about with the web browser like you have to on PS3. It's just a shame that's it taken so long to do this app!

Is the 360 app showing the mobile versions of the files or do you actually get the various resolution options that you get on the website? Also are the adverts removed (if so it might be the HTML5 version of videos). How does fullscreen work?

I'm trying to find a video of it in action but struggling

It's a bit dumbed down. You can't select a resolution, I think it plays automatically at the highest resolution the video is available in (according to what res your Xbox dash is set to).

When you play a video it is automatically fullscreen.

Haven't found any videos with adverts yet.

It's only for people in the pre-release program at the moment so not everyone will get it.
