Inspired by Pate's thread I thought I'd post my New Year's Resolution idea. Feel free to post your own :)
(I did a quick search and couldn't see a similar thread, apologies if I missed it)

My New Year's Resolution idea is to try at least one new exciting/exhilarating/terrifying thing every month for the next year. Hopefully this will make 2012 a year to remember.

Therefore I'm in need of at least 12 activities. So far the only activity I'm sure of is sky diving as I've wanted to do it for ages but kept putting it off. If possible I'd also like to try swimming with sharks and perhaps some kind of public performance (maybe stand-up at an open mic night or playing in a band).

If anyone's got any other ideas of activities I could try please let me know ;)

So, have you given any thought to your New Year's Resolution(s)?

Only have one same as every year, Not to die next year!

As an idea for you though, learn to fly.

It’s too early for me to ponder New Year resolutions. I'll do so after I'm well and truly stuffed after Christmas.

Exchange my gut for an awesome 6 pack. Or in other words, start doing some proper, regular exercise. Perhaps pick up the weights that I bought a while ago too.
I also want to make the move to a full consultant at work, have achieved a mini promotion in the 3 months that I have been there however I want to move out of the office and perhaps even get a few more quid per month.

Both of these are achievable I think if I put in enough time and effort.

Healthy eating... Feeling like death 24/7 from an unbalanced diet of filth is bad times.

Ate healthy for one week to try it out, yes it cost a little more but i felt loads better, loads more energy and happier too (for some strange reason).

Could that be classed as get fit? Meh.. who cares! :p

For the last six weeks I've been doing about 60 ab-crunches per day and I've started to notice the outline of a six-pack (but I was quite skinny to begin with). They only take a couple of minutes to do so there's no feeling of dread whenever I think about exercising.

I think there's a body-building thread on the sports page that might be of use to you if you need any help.

It's definitely achievable, good luck!

Crunches won't get you a six pack, diet will. Sure they may improve it slightly but it will only be slightly.

I said I'd eat healthier this year which I think I've done but still a bit podgy so I guess it's time to step it up and do some exercise!

Other than that my goal is to go up a grade at work which should be attainable.

Eat healthy.
Lose weight.
Get fit.
Save more.
Get back in to Education.
Write more.
Procrastinate less.
Try and be a better person.
