Pakistan... who has been?

Are you American then? :p

The lines are blurred :p Until i open my trap i could be a thin American, perhaps, didn't help staying in an American owned Hotel and being driven in the hotels bus, lots of shootings of white people, wasn't nice.

I've been to Pakistan many times as my Dad's family are from Lahore.

But here's the thing - He's very fair skinned, and my mother is a white Belgian. So essentially I'm a white person (some think I am Italian), I know, 'cool story bro' yadda yadda yadda...

I have never had a single problem out there, the most you will ever do is stop traffic in small rural villages who very rarely see white people. If you are unfamiliar with the country and don't speak a word of the language I would recommend places like Lahore or Islamabad. If would like to know what it was like to live on a planet where oxygen levels are basically non-existent, try Karachi.

In regards to beautiful places to visit I highly recommend Murray and Savvat.

Hope this helps :)

Does going to Pakistan taint your passport?

Never did me any harm and ive been back to Pakistan quite a few times, usually stay in Lahore or Islamabad...both nice cities but Lahore is more livelier so to speak.

I found Karachi a dump tbqh, wasnt that impressed with it....im due to be going sometime in Feb of next yr, have a cousin out there whos getting married. Looking forward to catching up with some family there.

lol pakistan? I'd sooner be fired than go there, for work or any other reason.

I'm sure there are nice places and the majority of people a genuine and friendly, but with all of the trouble over there at the moment and with the USA annoying them with old the Osama raid I'd stay well away.

Dad was born in Kashmir. He has two houses out there, one in Islamabad and the other in Kashmir. He talks about it as if it's the best place on Earth, although most Asians do speak highly of their home town and country. However, I'm not too convinced by the thought of going on holiday there, and neither is my Mum. However, I'll probably go there for a little while in the future... just to see what it's like.

Always wondered how Pakistan have Nukes yet the country is over run with terrorism, corruption and poverty.

Strong logic by those in power.

Pakistan...Last time I went I was 4, now I'm 21. Seriously corrupted, even the police. Lahore's nice, and even if you get a chance, head up to Islamabad and go to a place called Murray. Cold as heck, but beautiful.

murray/murry isnt as cold as it used to be..

i wonder where the OP is...
