3D Movies...........PC Hardware/Software?

Just bought myself one of these Samsung S27A950D for on-line gaming, but I was wondering how this would work if I wanted to watch a blueray 3D movie? What blueray player would you recommend, also what software to use. Like I said I was never really interested in the monitor for the 3D, but seeing as it's there I may as well give it a go.

i also have one of these monitors and i tried to get a 3d bluray to work, for a really weird reason i could only get the regular 2d movie to play :/ so yeh im no help but ill be keeping an eye out on this to see if anyone else can help out!

Can get 3D pics ups but dont have a clue on 3D blu-rays??

Simple things really, 3d source and active shutter glasses turned on and synced with the monitor? If it's a movie what software are you using to play it etc.

wel the obvious question would be: Is your bluray player 3d compatible? bc it wont work if its only a standard 2d one bc of all the security gumph

That.of,course depends on your setup. You can actually bypass not having a 3d blu ray player by using power dvd 11 etc or by using 3d content already uploaded on the web. Samsung 3d tvs can be fed a 3d file via usb. In any event with my setup I use my standard pc blu ray player to play 3d using power dvd 11 and a 3d tv
