Dota 2 - Steam

Is there going to be a open beta anytime soon?, I signed up on the BETA page early on and when steam did the Dota2 questions thing I answered with League of Legends experience since thats the only Dota game I've played. Obviously that was stupid and was filtered or something :(. I'm in the mood for some Dota but I'm finished with Leagues.

Mine is the Bloodseeker. Rupture maxed out is just immense. He is painfully hard to level against a good ranged group though. I find myself hiding and popping out to kill a few then running for the first 10 levels at-least.

Oh and supernaut, glad it ended well. Seems the bot that too my place sucked equally as hard as me! haha.

Max bloodbath early, you'll want 2 levels before you hit 6, take an axe with you and you're pretty un-harrassable, just sit there and last hit (assuming you can).

My favourite's probably Viper, far too powerful early on, and far too powerful later on ^^

That said I am 7 / 0 with Anti Mage, yet to lose a game :)

Yeh... answering the questions about Dota with LoL answers has probably ruled you out there.


That said, Dota2 is radically different to LoL, much more similar to HoN, which could make a good subsititude until you get into beta.

imo AM makes the game far too easy ;)

Viper is a beast! Though he does get outcarried by a few heroes, he is actually useful early (ish) unlike those other heroes.

I am also 7/0 with Anti Mage, pubs just dont have the co-ordination to deal with him.

I tend to just take turns playing carry/support (or ganker) with a friend, so easy to set yourself up for a decent late game that way.
 
I absolutely love this game! I haven't enjoyed something this much since I first got into the HoN beta. I actually feel like this is noticably better than HoN, or maybe I just enjoy it more. Unlike many I think the graphics are really nice.

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a spare beta key they don't plan on using that you could give to my mate? I feel bad for him because he sits and watches the live dota 2 tournaments all the time just wishing he could play, haha!
