It generates billions for the federal reserve and bank of england, as governments are forced to borrow and forever pay back. You can bet your life the owners of these central banks love/want war.

For example. Why is it you feel real modern warfare makes money? When most people complain at its cost.

Makes serious money for weapons manufacturers/share-holders. Most people who complain are civilian taxpayers who wonder why e.g. my child's special needs school is closing due to cutbacks OR I need 30K to send our Jimmy to University

I know a few guys who love playing them

What would you expect their reaction to be? The same as the over the top PC brigades? It's far from it. They're just games at the end of the day

I watched Armadillo last night, a film/documentary about the Danish military in Afghanistan. They were playing these games while not on patrol. An excellent show and very controversial in Denmark...
