In other news..
I got a call from Ikea to say my desk was due for delivery "in about an hour", so I left work.. got home exactly as he got the desk from the back of the van, opened the front door and put the desk inside. Signed the POD and left.
Time to completion 45secs
@ OP - Why not just beep the van and do the Team America secret-signal?

Depending on what contact details i've provided the seller, they have sometimes texted me or dropped me an email with the time slot at around 9am of the morning they're delivering it.

Personally I would have chased him down by beeping the horn repetitively until he pulls over lol.

Although i guess i could have ran after him. Or got in my car and chased him down.

As he was driving off. My fault technically but it was just so maddening that he turned up for the 1 minute i wasnt there within the hour window
My asda deliveries always seem to turn up in the last 10 minutes of the window, on the times when i have no other food in the house that is.

I've had a week of life trolling me.
This has been my first week off in ages, had plans to do things sort out christmas presents etc..Anyway
Day1
Needed to call in work to do an interview, he didn't turn up, morning wasted, that evening I had a compulsory work party, so couldn't do a thing that day.
Day 2
Car breaks down, can't go anywhere, day wasted
Day 3
Car into repair, don't get it back until late afternoon and costs me money, day wasted.
Day 4
Drive many miles to do christmas shopping, card is declined due to unusual transactions (see paying for car repair) after much arguing have to return home to get more account info to get my account unblocked, waste 5 more mins whining on internet forum.
Day 5 (tomorrow)
I dread to think whats going to go wrong next!
