Watch strap shortening London

Hi there,

I've got a watch that needs the strap shortened by a fair bit (I have skinny wrists

). I was wondering if anyone knows a reputable shop in London which would do it within 2 or 3 days? Most I've seen will send it away to their workshop and take a couple of weeks to sort everything. With it being close to Christmas I guess this would mean not getting it back till after New Year.

Any recommendations? Google surprisingly doesn't throw up a lot of suggestions.

I've had it done in Debenhams before. Leave it with them, go and collect it an hour later.

Timpsons will also probably do it for you.

Depends where you are mate, it's unlikely to be worth going all the way across town for the sake of a good recommendation. Living in W12 I just went to a decent-looking place nearby and the chap was excellent. Try your local area?

I'd recommend Debenhams too, dropped it off & collected the next day.

If you're anywhere near Willesden Green, try Roshni Gifts and Jewellery...not that that's my shop or anything... ahem... but yeah, depending on the watch and workload it can usually be done in 10-15 mins, and well too...

Try any ndependent jewellers, they will normally do it whilst you wait.
