I'm thinking that the forum members on here are a bit simple. Like, shock and outrage, really?
She's 13. She probably wrote it as an edgy piece of expressionism. Yes, it was pretty lame. But really, OUTRAGE? I remember when my brother co-wrote a story about killing all his classmates when he was like 9 as a joke with his friend, for some boring piece of original writing they had to do for school where everyone else wrote about being friends and rainbows.
I think that if you're seriously SHOCKED AND OUTRAGED about a fictional piece describing death threats to a fictional character, you are either a bit simple and still believe in Santa Claus, or you're simply a typical Daily Mail/The Sun reader.
Oh, and nice mom putting out her kid with a pic in Metro when people are as stupid as some of the opinions expressed in this thread. I'm sure it will be a lot of help for her daughter.
