I'm liking Mata, he has a really good shot on him and all I ever do is cut inside so I have to play him on the right but it doesn't make any difference to his play. Much prefer him over Nani
 
I play him on the left and I'm assuming his uprated passing is helping him break free of his marker by passing to team mate and then been free to cross or cut in whichever I decide top player either way

i think that's why i never got on with him, i like to cut in and was using him on the left.

he really does need to be on the right.

i imagine him on the right would be awesome, they need to bring out lw to rw cards, etc. it's beyond a joke now.

i dont understand why they don't allow you to move anyone to any position. just seems retarded tbh.

Yeah, most prem clubs switch their wingers throughout the game, Bale and Lennon, Young and Nani, etc etc

Ronaldo being limited to LM/LW is ridiculous as well. He plays more up front or CF role.
 
My team once I will fork out for Silva will be as follows. I've gone with a hybrid now and only one dead link which is a bit annoying between Diego and Aguero. Any ideas?

Hernanes is too slow in his position, put Diego there. (But I assume you need the Serie A link up, get Robinho in CM)
 
I thought about Ramires but didn't know how good he was. I could afford an IF Ramires but wouldn't then be able to afford Silva, still have Luiz though who fits straight in. How much better is IF to normal Ramires?

Robhino is far too weak to be used in CM and small, he is a winger, therefore the best position for him is a wide CAM, last year he was a LW/LM for Milan, this year he is a CF i think.

EA have gotten so many positions wrong or put players in a position where they sometimes play but not in others where they often play.

Ronaldo as your example above. Lavezzi is another. Villa plays anywhere along the front line for Barca, not just LW. Di Maria plays on the left a lot. Pepe sometimes plays CDM at madrid. Marcelo sometimes plays LM/LW since they have Coentrao now. Pato plays RW a lot with Robhino LW and Ibra is the sole striker.

Seriously EA make it happen, i would love to play some CB's in CDM and some CDM's or RB's in CB.
 
I remember them saying the conversion of the prices were wrong and they were correcting it soon. How much does the Gold Packs cost now on PS3?
 
I was going to splash £25 on packs during the next Happy Hour. This new price means 5 less packs.

Apparently the 95p price was an error due to the conversion rate they use, this is the price it should have been according to EA. :(
 
wonder how much the £1.99 packs will cost in future? £2.50 means 1 less pack for £10, which is a huge amount since 5 packs for a tenner was steep i thought, but now it's 4 for a tenner, then they will be raking it in.

EA have no soul
 
I didn't get into UT 11 till June so not sure what the prices of packs where exactly but I remember buying two jumbo packs with £5 and I had a few pence left. With this new price of packs anyone think the prices of contracts and players will cost more now?
 
I had been noticing that the prices of contracts on auctions had gone up. I had assumed it was maybe to do with the 5k tournament and people were playing more and needing more contracts. Only a thought tho....

people will be buying less packs, therefore less players and contracts on market.

but the prices usually drop across the board in january for players.

contracts usually remain steady throughout the year.

i think contracts will go up a lot because of less of them being available. players will go up slightly but not by much, then maybe even out in january.

nobody knows for sure, as it is a real life stock market and anything can happen. ea will bring out consumable only packs bringing down the price of consumables if consumables rise too much. they done it last year.
 
People complaining about not being able to use an RW in the LW slot without losing chem... just use the d-pad and choose switch wings, they'll go to the opposite wing unless you tell them to swap wings again. What's the problem?
 
Loving the Classico Offline Tourney must have generated about 28k from it so far!!!!
Don't think I'm good enough to play it online tbh..
