Ryu is a beast now, he has had such good buffs... Full screen air tatsu like vanilla, that DP is godlike... low forward is good... no surprise if I see Daigo using him instead of akuma

I'm happy to forfeit the AE 2011 tourny so we can start a new one if people are still interested in this game

Daigo already switched to Ryu I'm sure I read on Eventhubs, he was using Akuma then he tried Cammy and lately he's been back with Ryu. Kazunoko has been using Seth, I don't know of anybody prominent who is still using the twins.

AE 2011 tourney table has been updated.

I can't say I'm still into this game, but I am interested in a 2012 tourney

I'll probably use Cammy or Gief.

I am charged out by the hour, but get salary + bonus (no direct overtime).

2 hit HK SA fix reverts SA back to how it was in vanilla, i.e. you can get both hits when comboing into it again.

I wouldnt say Ryu is a "beast" in AE 2012 but certainly has improved vs AE. His cr mk is close to what it was in super, his air tatsu is not as good as it was in super for escaping (its much more "floaty" and easier to punish) but pretty good for attacking and getting in and HP DP cant be FADC'd which is a shame but the 160 damage and 4 frame invincibility make it a viable anti air tool now. 10 extra damage to fireballs and forward hp is nice and some of the follow ups now available upon counter hit ex fireball are interesting. Overall I reckon he will end up high mid tier.

Ggs Drunzer. Work on your Akuma vortex and be more aggressive and you will do better next time.

GGS earlier Dunzer. When playing Akuma refrain from doing so many jump back fireballs. It doesn't help you and against Abel its a no no.

I kept doing that last night against Distorted too, I had trained myself not to do that but I've had a break from AE recently so looks like I've had a bit of a relapse.
