Cyborg R.A.T 9

I'm sure they're are and it's an expensive experiment.

Buying a mouse is always an expensive ordeal because you never know how you will like it till you get it and especially with wireless mice.

I don't know of any computer shops near me that let you try a mouse before you buy and even if they did they would never carry stock of all the mice you want to try.

the steelseries are looking nice and simple. do we really need these 15 button mice?

They are good the new Kinzu V2 and Kana are supposed to be good. I have a Sensei and it is a great mouse. I prefer a simpler more understated mouse (That is why my Sensei has a Xai shell and all the LEDs turned off). Although the RAT does look very customisable but I really don't know how much of an improvement that would be.

i really like the ergonomics of it, but the programming software for it isn't very good and mine has started having problems with registering button presses on the side buttons (push too hard and it doesn't register)

might get another one but would think twice about it.

the battery gets easier to remove after a while so not too bad

found it too heavy with the extra weights

Hey RAT Bashers xD

I just got a RAT 9 for xmas (got it early) and i love it (did have to stop using my gaming mat though)

It is completely differant experiance to the G9 i was using

What would be the best MOUSE MAT to get to complement it...... ?

I always read GOOD reviews about my choices in hardware then when i purchase the so called hardware i then find all the HATERS and BAD reviews lol have to laugh or id cry

twas the same with th GTX480s lol hear all good things then i buy on and BAM all the warnings and bad reviews POP UP.... one day ill get something that is all good......

The main problems I had with mine, the laser obviously stopping working, i could never get the sensitivity right, but the surface of it had a few indentations in it, so it always felt like it was scraping across the desk rather than being flush.

I went back to my tried and trusty MX518 that ive had for 5 years, its worn and beaten to hell but its 10x more precise and comfortable for me than the Rat was.

LOL, they are supposed to work best on a hard white surface.

Mine is happily working on a black fabric mat (boogie bug xl)

Not from OcUK. Just google "white hard mouse mat" I'm sure you will find something.
