Apparently then All Perks on Specialist gives you most of the proficiencies too except for Breath, Range, and Attachments. That explains the speeded up melee and that extra bit of ability to strafe and return fire.
I think I've seen people on 5th and 6th prestige. They must play 24 hours a day.
Saw my first tenth prestige today

People like you make me sick, all about stats, I want a good clean fair game, MW3 is not that, lag, spawn points, quickscoping, poor map design etc. That is cheap console gaming, people lap it up, it sells, they know what sells because muppets like you buy all the map packs, people thrive on it, its here to stay in COD franchise.
I'm rank 76 of 6th prestige and have 6days play time. Which is ~5 hours a day. Quite a lot, but perfectly doable if you don't have much else to do. Also my flatmate's probably responsible for 1 out of those 5 hours per day.

Must be like a shared account. Maybe a flat full of people, or something. There's no way a single person alone could get 10th by now unless they have literally no life whatsoever. That's pretty sad if it's the case.

It does give you range but it doesn't give you damage. Not sure about breath but I'll take your word for it.

I've had to do a fresh Firefox install today nice work on the "OcUK Dark V2.0 with santa hats on avatars" for Stylish![]()

What you on about a week after the game came out the leaderboard had people at tenth at the top of it. TBH I have seen people at 6 days played hitting 10th + gametype make a difference you usually find the search players ranking fast. I think Sadam is 5th almost touching 6th with three days playtime and the reason he ranks so fast is that he goes for pro perks and challenges all the time. I have used the MP7 for the majority of this prestige and not done many challenges or try to get pro perks and I have noticed a slow down on leveling up.
