Its the build up to christmas, your package isn't 8 working days late (as mine was from Amazon

Impatience/annoyance at having to pay £5 for delivery, and it hasn't arrived in time. Had it been free delivery 3-5 working days, and it was a day late I wouldn't be so bothered tbh...

I've had no problems with Amazon, and have ordered 7 products with them, all on separate orders, and they have arrived on time (actually some arrived the next day!). Although I do hear a lot of bad stories with Amazon, think it's the luck of the draw who you get to deliver your items Royal Mail or Yodel, the latter having the worst press.

Yodel are shocking. My parcel sat with them for 4 days before they decided to try and dispatch it.

Are you 100% sure its not next day delivery depending on stock? It could well be CYC didn't have an item in until the next day...

As with others, I have never had any problems with CYC, in fact they have been brilliant when I used them in the past.

E-mail receieved from CYC yesterday:

Tracking info from DPD taken 3 mins ago:

2 annoying things here, in the e-mail is says "from the morning of December 15th you will also be able to view your 1 hour delivery time slot". DPD's fault here though...

Also I like the service status on the DPD tracking info under service: "parcel - dpd next day"

Yes I know this, but when you pay £5 for delivery, you expect the quoted delivery time. Like I said I wouldn't be bothered if it were free delivery...

What do you want them to do? Ignore the backlog and just deliver yours first? Take it as a lesson learned and order way before Christmas next time.

I'm just trying to be realistic - you clearly aren't! Its 10 days before Christmas - you paid £5 for next day delivery. It didn't arrive. You'll get your £5 back and still get your stuff, presumably tomorrow. Hardly worth creating a fuss about!

Wasn't really trying to create a fuss in the first place. Wanted to know if this was the norm from CYC, or was it a one off...

Also wanted to find out if there are other online companies/stores that sell Wolf's De-Ironiser.

Sorry I'm not a realist, I have ordered countless amounts of products in the run up to Christmas, have done for many years infact. Never had any significant delays that I can remember. Maybe CYC shouldn't offer next day delivery if they can't satisfy it???

To be honest I saw DPD and that was all I needed. I've used CYC before with no issues. DPD on the other hand are a very mixed bag and throw in the X-Mas rush and it is to be expected really.
