Does anyone know where on earth I can find fuse bulbs for Christmas tree lights?!

I've tried ******, sainsburys, Argos, John Lewis and no luck anywhere!

It's really annoying as one bulb seems to affect half the bloody lights!

B&Q or Wilkos probably.

If you're feeling immoral you could buy a set, nick the fuse out the spare pack you get and say you changed your mind, hoping they don't check the contents thoroughly when you hand it back.

All good shouts, thanks guys. Looks like a trip to B&Q, Homebase etc. is on the cards for the weekend. Failing that, time for a new set of lights!

To save you a wasted trip dont bother going to Homebase for these. They have stopped selling replacement bulbs instore and have instead switched to a hotline where you can order bulbs for delivery.

Ah interesting, thanks Salsa. The only trouble with that is we dont have the original box so I wouldn't be able to tell them what type of bulb it is. Although i've just seen B&Q are doing a 3 for 2 on xmas lights. I may just take the safe option!

If you are going to be buying new lights then Homebase has most of theirs on clearence prices, ie. better than half price, so might be worth a look then.

If you are going to buy new lights then I woudl make the switch to LED lights. Not quite a bright but you dont have the issues of blown bulbs every year you unpack them ;)

Salsa, you're an encyclopedia of Christmas light knowledge, thanks!
