cumulus, would you please bookmark that world weather thread and just post in there whenever something "interesting" crops up? Every time a seagull farts you make a thread about it :(

Seems to be highly revelant and similar to that thread which was posted last week saying the UK was in for a major storm. This appears to be that storm, it merely missed us and hit Europe instead. Yet I don't see anyone making quite so much fuss over that other weather thread.

This. People are too quick to criticise cumulus, when in fact we have 2 threads going on at the moment about snow.

So why not keepit in the thread that's already there for the topic? It's even the same storm

That's what I mean, we have 2 threads going that are talking about the same snowfall. And then people criticise cumulus for posting a new thread where he could have just updated an original thread. A tad hypocritical.

And how the hell did that Audi not get crushed by that container? And how the hell can wind move a container like that?

highest windgust in switzerland until 11:00

Säntis: 152 km/h
Jungfraujoch: 149 km/h
Pilatus: 145 km/h
Chasseral: 145 km/h
Les Diablerets: 144 km/h
Moléson: 132 km/h
Rünenberg: 127 km/h
Plaffeien: 126 km/h
Titlis: 123 km/h
Titterten: 122 km/h
Fahy: 121 km/h
Mervelier: 117 km/h
Vicques: 116 km/h
Biel: 115 km/h

That's either the lightest shipping container in the history of mankind, or that Audi (?) has the stiffest suspension this side of the Humber Bridge.

That has baffled me. How can the wind move such a thing in the first place? Off the ground? On top of a car?:confused::confused::confused:

And the car not have any damage?
