Case airflow is made up of a front 120mm fan, rear 120mm fan, a bottom slot PSU and the Xigmatek Gaia CPU cooler. Case is the Coolermaster 311+.

CPU temps are between 35C and 45 dependant on core, so I can't understand why my GPU temps are so high given ambient temps are around 10-15C with no central heating.

GPU is running stock and fan at stock 40%.

Guru3D got 31C idle, but I'm not sure what case cooling they use. I was at least expecting sub 40C idle.

Would I simply need a fan pushing air from the front of the case and through the GPU?

That does seem very high.
I did change the thermal paste on it a while ago with some IC Diamond but it only dropped by a few degrees.

Just took this screenshot of mine 5 mins ago :

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the case you have is known to be a stinker for gpu temps. The front fan blows straight onto the hard drive cage and nothing gets to the gpu. As long as its not to bad (>90oc) under full load. i wouldn't worry to much.

You don't want the latest drivers?

Thanks for the heads up!

I've tried all the drivers upto 290.36 but like a lot of people with these cards I get the damn TDR errors, even at stock clocks.
Never happened once with these 275's.

Cheers, that puts my mind at ease.

Case closed. :)
