Is it okay to hit women? (equality)

You can hardly blame her for that. It takes two to tango. I would give him a hiding, but wouldn't lift my hand to a woman or indeed a **** as your post would suggest

The girl would get horsed out into the street but wouldnt hit her.

Unless I was in danger of serious physical harm I dont think it is correct to strike a woman. Thats just how I was raised I guess...

Personally I would say only in self defense. For example if a woman came at me with a knife and I was backed into a corner I would plant one on her chin.

Depends on the situation / who they are.

I would defend myself, but that most likely wouldn't require me to throw a punch. If the need arrised though I probably would.

I wouldn't hit the women, I'd beat the crap out of the guy though, then dump the girl on the street

I have only ever hit my girlfriend in jest, I would never hit her in order to cause harm.

I did show her some of the holds I learne in security training though lol.

TBH, having worked at a uni bar, I had to carry off plenty of women (lol) after they got into fights. They kick and scream and the easiest thing to do is just to disable them (not literally of course) but if you hold their arms, if done properly you won't get hit.

To be honest hitting anyone is bad, unless in self defence, in which case its a valid action for both parties.

That doesn't make it confirmed.

He could be that guy at university, but britboy was a fake account with the person using the pictures of that guy on Dragons Den. It could quite easily of been him doing all that.

Either way, he's worse.

Hitting a woman though unless it really is a life or death situation is unacceptable.

Over the last 10-15 years there has been a huuuuge change in the way women act and its all down to drink. More and more women are going out binge drinking and causing violence. I am sure that if you checked the police stats on drunken violent behavior over the last 15 years there has been a dramatic increase in drink fueled violent attack cases involving women. I have seen this on numerous occasions while out in town as well as on the plethora of "Brit Cop" Programs. I have seen women go more mental than i have any man... Seriously, at times, they can turn from a drunken woman to a mental wailing monster with claws. I have seen women and men be glassed, bottled and on one occasion a man be stabbed several times in the head with a stiletto heal in a frenzied attack from a woman that had actually been cheating on her boyfriend with several men and went mental when he dumped her publicly.

In answer to the OP then YES in self defence it is ok to hit a woman.
