My girlfriend has just made a grievous error

This is the sort of thing we all joke about in the pub but would never do unless we were desperate for attention.
 
Well the upside is that if you ever have to send the kid to her room for a timeout, when its time to let her out again you can yell: "UNLEASH THE KRAKEN!"
 
Christ, what a bunch of drama queens :rolleyes:. Nobody would actually be dumb enough to name their daughter Kraken - I'm surprised that some people are dumb enough to believe someone would :(. It was a transcript of a funny conversation, I'm glad some people got it but a lot of you stone-faced cynics need to cool your heels a bit - there's no need to throw a temper tantrum every time you come across a joke that you don't understand :confused:.

RELEASE THE KRAKEN!

There's no indication of a joke in your OP. It was just reacted to for the stupidity it is ;)

Oh, come on! I know I have a history of saying some dumb things, but I've never been shy about owning up to them :p. Actually naming your daughter "Kraken" though.... people really believed that would happen? Really?
 
There are some very stupid people in this world my friend :p And your username doesn't do you any favours :p
