Best watercooling kit for my rig in my sig ;)

Ok thanks! I just assembled the WC setup, looks the mutts nuts! Currently leak testing (no leaks so far!). Plenty of trapped air though. I've rocked the case side to side, it's helped a bit but still some bubbles in there and the pump still making noise!
PICS!!!!

EDIT: All bubbles gone!! The pump is very quiet!!

Is it safe to run the Rad on passive without fans? I've only got 2 or 3 120mm's and won't be putting any heavy loads on it. This is until I get a new set of fans!

Watch your temps, but it should be fine.

The newer ones without those sensors are 900rpm and do 37 cfm, is that any good? Doesn't state the static pressure. What about Xigmatek LED fans?

I think that's good. I have no idea TBH. I'll find the static pressure.

rjk was using Xigmatek bluelines and AFAIK, they were pretty good

EDIT: all 3 have reasonable static pressure. GTs best, then apollishes, then bluelines. GTs are quite far ahead

The pics will be coming in the following week once it's all done! It looks pretty awesome. Those Xigmatek Blue Lines look pretty good! Might just go with them, comparing them to the other LED fans they look and perform the best according to reviews and specs.

As I'm using green uv water with green accents on the side and a green side window, which colour would look best on the external Rad? Blue or Red?

Really? Do you have a link? How much difference in pressure we talking about? Since I want to run near silent 700-900 RPM would it make much difference at those speeds? Since static pressure is usually measured at the fan's top speed?

I just googled the static pressure of each fan :)

I think blue and green go well together :D

Thanks!

I'm running Prime95 now and getting 72c for core0, Core1/2/3 are around 67c/68c.

About 18 degrees cooler than what I was getting on air. I used Chill Factor III instead of the included MX-4 as I've had great results with it. These temps about right considering I've got 3 fans instead of 4 on my rad?

I'll think about which fans to get but it's between the 2 LED ones

EDIT: Uploading a few pics ;) Build Log will be coming this week!

May make some changes such as adding a couple CCFL's I have and obviously proper fans and the fan controller in that blank 5.25" bay!

DON'T YOU DARE BUY CATHODES!!!

buy some LED strips instead :)

IMO, the apollishes look better than the bluelines but it's opinion.

System looks good :D

Cheers! Cable Management in the Mark I case is a bitch! And that side panel fan is pushing the hoses slightly, I barely got that side panel to close!! I couldn't see the Apollishes on OCUK, only reason I thought of going with the Xigma's.

Why not cathodes? I have a couple I've used for about a year before I WC'd. They haven't faded yet!

they're just really weak in comparison to LED strips and they need ****** inverter boxes

It's easier to go LED. I used to be srsly pro cathode before, but now i see the light (literally)

Yeah I agree with the inverters, I fried one once lol thought I'd fried something important, was bricking it until I saw the smoke coming out from it!

LED's definitely easier to stick on as well, I hope I have enough Molex connectors on my PSU!

Also are those temps ok? I do see the odd tiny little bubble here and there, at least I hope it's a bubble and not a speck of dust or Rad crap :s Should they be hitting between 68-70c? My machines v loud ATM, can't pinpoint what it is, it's not the crappy fans as I unplugged one by one until the noise went down but it was still there and definately not the pump. Only other thing is the PSU and GFX card :s I think I might lower the Rad one fan size lower so the external mounts on the 2nd top fan mount instead of the 3rd!

70 isn't bad when under prime.

What sort of sound is it? High pitched whine?

I'm hearing two tones, ones a bit high pitched, ones low. I could just be tone deaf! I hear a slightly rattling noise and it may be my PSU gonna check those screws! :s Also see my edited post above!
