Trine 2 - Beautiful!

Seems great so far. I played the beta and so had already done the first two levels, The game lets you continue from that point, but did anyone else get the problem where continuing would just leave you on the screen with the orb with the women watching you after killing the snake? I had to reply level 2 to get the game to continue. No problem at all, just wondering if it was only me.
 
Nah the only thing you really need to understand is what the Trine did. Other than that the Wizard makes a reference to the Forge which you wouldn't get if you hadn't played that level. Can't think of anything else.

Finished it off now. It gets really difficult towards the end. Last level I got killed so many times.

I think you get a few references to the previous game. When I exited some water after swimming, the Wizard mentioned the amulet from the previous game which allowed one character to breath under water with it. The thief denied knowing where it was ;)

Just played this and its gorgeous, not just the graphics either, its the animation. Like the orks and everything, you can move plants around even the shooty ones.

Its managed to distract me from Skryim for over 45 minutes which is no mean feat.
 
Anyone else noticed that this game seems to push a graphics card vastly harder than most other titles out? I saw 91C last night whilst playing this on my gcard and it never goes anywhere near that whilst playing BF3, metro etc on the highest settings lol.
 
Anybody here running Trine2 with Eyefinity (5760x1200), if I disable CFX then it runs OK, if I enable CFX it runs like a dog.

If I disable Eyefinity and use CFX then it runs like a dream.

Really starting to get into Indie game titles, also playing Limbo and Dungeon Defenders at the moment, hopefully this will be just as good!

It's so enjoyable playing these games after having raged for hours at BF3.
 
Well I'm hooked. The colours and great physics are a welcome distraction from the usual sort of games I'd been playing lately. I've actually hung around for several minutes in some locations to take in the stunning scenery
 
I created a thread saying how amazing the beta levels were in 3D vision. I was gawp-smiling like a total tool but couldn't stop myself!

It is absolutely phenominal and yes I think having sli 470's will actually be necessary at 1080p!

Can't wait to actually play it, PC is in bits...
That and arkham city:D

What? It runs fine on a 4890 at very high settings for me. 1920x1200. Unless you mean for 3d vision
