Florescent tube which sort of plugs in

We have a florescent unit under the stairs and the tube has died. Now it's not a traditional tube with pins at the very end, but instead the tube has a big 'node' towards each end (on the side of the glass), so the bulb sort of plugs into the unit just plugging it in vertically.

I just cannot find such a bulb to replace it...

Unfortunately it's now been chucked. I'll swear it had "J60" written on the side, I'm assuming the 60 being the length (60cm). I had assumed I'd just pop into a DIY store and pick one up. But nope...

Imagine a normal tube and then 1-2cm in from each end a 1 by 1 by 2cm'ish copper node. These two nodes then plug up into the unit itself.

They are not a flourescent tube but have a standard filament and are the architectural type available from any large DIY store. The 60, in J60, is representing 60 Watt.

Edit - i have just remembered that because the government tell us we are not allowed to buy what we want they may have changed the law so stores can't sell light bulbs that they say are not energy efficiant. So, these lightbulbs may only be available from online stores now. :(

That's it. The connection wasn't so much a peg as an oval, but that almost it...

So to be green, I now have to throw away a unit I literally use for 30 seconds a week, and buy something else!

Way to go!

EDIT: Thanks for your help. Found it now you've clarified it as architectural - http://www.hawthornshop.co.uk/index.aspx?s=Product&p=12136
