*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

Well today for me has been the breaking point. Got 3 characters on Frostclaw with TDR and I'm saying goodbye to them all. 5 hours Q'ing for about 20mins playtime because of some problems. It's actually unbelievable if you think about it.

Think I'm going to roll on Kai-Kan, bit of research first. Cheers all.
 
I know you guys are queueing to join your mates and guilds, but seriously, 3 or 4 hour waits? I haven't queued once and while I am not guilded, I call that an acceptable loss when I think about the fact I've played as much as I want this weekend and not once had to wait for the game to let me in.

Anyone who wants to join me on Killian Jarro, PVE Republic, jump on and say hi - my toons are called Pooks and Luw'en.

Did you roll there? I just rage quit the queue and am starting again, choosing another server

I guess the objectives on Illum at level 50 is meant to where we gain anything other than the enjoyment of it. Just seems a bit weird seeing as they kept touting that you can fully level through the game with PvP if you want to but you'd be undergeared.

It's a beast. I'm thinking Sith Warrior or Inquisitor. Repub looks decent though, using the wait time to check out the different options. :p

i bought mine in a shop and bought the pre order key separately so i would not have to download

Don't mate, they're going to raise the limit significantly on the release. They're doing it now to spread the server population evenly.
 
Been having a great time on Nightmare lands level 27 atm be doing a bit of pvp and questing.
Love hutball its getting realy fun :) heres hoping they make some more fun warzones soon
 
Trying to decide which server to roll an alt in to avoid the queues.

Also what to have as an alt - already tried Jedi Knight and Consular. Perhaps a shooting alt. I know trooper is meant to have a good story. What are the healing classes? Seems to be a distinct lack of healers in the game.

Sorcerer and Sage are the healers, I think. (So Inquisitor and Consular)

Trooper -> Commando has a healer tree, and I think one of the Smuggler ones is too. Not entirely sure on the latter, however. Trooper is good fun - I've got a lvl 17 atm.

Republic:
Consular - Sage
Smuggler - Scoundrel
Trooper - Commando

Empire:
Bounty Hunter - Mercenary
Imperial Agent - Operative
Inquisitor - Sorcerer

(all of the above can also dps ofc).
