Hi,

As title really, with multi-core CPUs at 4-5ghz and SSDs, is there much to be gained by altering RAM timings?

I've never dabbled in RAM clocking, so if I was to start experimenting, what difference(s) would I see with my i5 750 @ 4ghz and this RAM.

Thanks in advance,

FB..

they're only relevant if all you do is run synthetic benchmarks all day and need that extra 3 points or 0.01 seconds knocked off a time. complete waste of time otherwise.

Thanks for the info. Could the same also be said of RAM frequency?
