I'm loving 3-4-1-2 again. :D It can be hard work, you have to really be concentrating in defence, but it's just so much fun, there's so much attacking potential. Currently rocking:

Aguero - Van Persie
Silva
Mata - Alonso - Fabregas - Sanchez
Pepe - Pique - Ramos
Diego Alves

Instead of pumping money into a couple of IFs for my main team, I decided to make a Brazilian counterpart:

Neymar - Pato
Kaka
Bastos - IF Lucas - IF Ramires - Hulk
Luiz - Lucio - Maicon
Stek

Luiz is just standing in while a few players sell and such so I can pick up Thiago Silva.

Lush. :D

Now all I need to do is play Tim at some point and have him ravage my team until I rage sell them all. :(

I tend to play attacking/ultra attacking, keeping my line quite high (low? I don't know how to describe it.). And I have to be very precise with my defenders tackling and positioning, but I haven't had any troubles so far. I've won all but one game I played today with my 3-4-1-2, and that was a matter of me being denied a penalty and him somehow managing to slip through a bunch of my players in the rain. ¬_¬

4-3-3 is the bane of a 3-defender formation, but as long as I'm careful, I can just about handle the wingers. All about positioning, and allowing the opponent to run into space, only to then cut it off and steal the ball away rather than simply running in and tackling.

While it's obviously can be leaky defensively, it's very fun to play and requires you to actually be good at defending - you can't rely on your pacy fullbacks to correct your CBs mistakes. ;)

Cool man, I'm glad you're happy with it. 3 at the back is definitely interesting but just seems too fragile. I'd like to give you a game at some point if you're on the 360. :)
 
Constant disconnects tonight, so frustrating. I have played about 10 games in a row, every game after 2 or 3 minutes it disconnects and goes with the result at the time. Anyone else having problems? I set up router to open the ports but it still says it's restrictive sometimes. I might get a network lead so its not on wireless and see if it help.
