Also for Republic side - the legacy stuff opens up after your Alderaan Class Quests finish (typically around level 32-34)
 
Game is amazing. So much depth. Just sorting out gear for all your companions is awesome! Tatoine was amazing for me but thats behind me now. Level 38 and totally hooked! Game really picks up from tatoine.

My juggernaut rocks in pvp too. AOE slow, Saber throw, force choke, force push and more. Nothing like choking someone to death or pushing them off a cliff lol. :D
 
Agreed.

Just finished Act I with my Consular, going to hold back a bit now to let some friends catch up - I did most of the game Solo so far!

Might start a Gunslinger/Jugg while I wait

Try assassin, pretty much untouchable at 25 and above, also will we be able to change appearances of our alts؟

Was in Warzones, not open world PVP, so about 7k xp/match overall, wasn't too bad, and helps being able to hone skills :)

Won't rush through then, just hope that the legacy name I want hasn't gone!!

You can't of levelled 0-14 then can you, I didn't think Warzones were available till 10? Though not tried it much. OR PvP servers different?

I find Republic suck at PvP though... :(

I've never played a game before which requires you to hold down the RMB to move the camera.

Then if you want to click something you need to release the RMB (and thus lose camera control) click with the very poorly visible cursor then RMB back on again to move the camera.

Vexes me in PVP with scrums of players especially at close range with loads of bum rapists trying to get behind you.

Maybe I'll get more used to it. Rumour has it using tab is easier to get a target lock on someone than trying to click some dodging git among a bunch of others. Initial attempts in pvp have resulted in much capslock pressing :p


In other news, there was about 70 Immortals players on earlier on Niman. No Russians seen yet though I have read that they cant type in cryllic because the game doesn't have support for the letters...

Trooper Commando, even if you go DPS is still a fairly decent healer what with the free spammable "beam" heal from your uh... assault cannon (no one else can keep healing with no action points) and the two castable heals. Which is a good thing and a bad thing depending on how much you actually wanted to be DPS in the raid :p

I personally use:

Q = Enemy Target
E = Friendly Target
F = Focus Target

Means I can quickly cycle if clicking is to much effort, lol!

The focus window is normally reserved for the tank/friendly needing regular healing - can tape E to cycle the others or click the Operation Frame (use that instead of basic party one) as it's easier to view.

Still not great for PvP due to number of enemies - but i tend to hide out of Line of Sight to heal anyway :)

I'm Khris on Republic side.

In other news, my very small guild managed to rough up enough to kill a world boss a few days ago and today we did 3 in a row. Latest one was Trapjaw, some level 30 beast that hits like a freight train.

You see lots of people say you need like a full raid, but honestly we've done them with 8, since we don't have that many people. Although I'm tanked to the brim with epics and orange/mods, pushing 8.5k+ hp at 32 :D
 
Can I just add (as this game will be getting lots of new players today) that even if wab rubs them up the wrong way on here (;)) that I've happened across many of his guildmates (Immortals) while playing and they've all been good people, which is more than I can say for a couple of kill stealing ***kwits I've met.

Special props to Opollo who I've grouped with a few times.

But yeah, don't come to Niman, we don't need the queue time increased :p
 
How did launch go?

So pleased with preorder I moved my char away from any newbie areas.

Wise to stay away for few days I think!
