Jack Daniels Collection

It's all No.7 though so what makes one bottle worth £200 and another worth £15?

Give me some Johnny Walker Blue :p

It's not all no 7, I've also got Silver Select and Gentleman Jack too. I would love to try the Monogram but it cost me £175 so I think I'll wait till I visit Tennessee next year. I do have the UK only bottle you mentioned but it's hidden in that pic lol

For those of you who are wondering, yes that is the 2011 Lego Millenium Falcon and 2 TIE Fighters on the shelf above. I just can't afford the Death Star yet lol

You paid full price for a bottle of monogram....check the bay more, bottles pop up now and then. What cap does it have, smooth or ribbed? Your find the smooth ones are worth more and older :)

It will be well worth the wait when you do open it though, so I wouldn't worry.

I'll have to post up my collection later though I know it's something like below, value top to bottom:

- JD Monogram
- Jack Daniels Master Distiller - Number 1
- JD 1954 Gold Medal (I think it's 1954) - Signed bottle by Jimmy Bedford
- 2 x JD 2011 Birthday Bottle (keep meaning to get rid of one)
- Silver Select - Opened :)
- Single Barrel - Birmingham Airport
- Gentleman Jack - 3rd Gen (drank before value realised :D)
- Gentleman Jack - Current Gen....obviously drinking this

A friend of mine has a similar collection but with more gold medals and a bicentennial I believe

To get:

- More Gold Medals
- Green Label
- Another Monogram
- Winter Punch
- JD Honey
- Any other super silver selects that I see around :)

I think I need to move house before I get anymore otherwise the misses will kill me!

If you fancy it

I've noticed they've changes the bottles in Tesco the other day.

That's right, they are now more square of sort (New on right before anyone asks ;))

Some of you Whiskey connoisseurs might find this hard to believe, but I don't drink a lot of JD, in fact, I hate the taste unless I've had a few drinks before it, I need to be drunk to enjoy it lol, although I do have the odd JD and Coke now and again.

I collect JD because of the cult following it has with Rock/Metal music, JD advocates like Slash, Dimebag Darrel and Lemmy (that and it will be worth a load more than I paid for it in a few years)

i'm the same. i don't hate the taste but it is (in all honesty) american garbage. it's more of a cult drink but i will order it with a mixer on occassion as it is an easy option when it comes to drinking whiskey on a night out. it's third division when compared to other brands from closer to home.

Puts my collection to shame Stuartx lol.

I saw a video on youtube of a guy who has en entire room dedicated to JD, he had at least 3 of every bottle

Found it

JD mings hard :/

I can see why a man might build up a collection over time, if people bought him it.

I certainly wouldn't drink it!
